Texas PTA Newsletter Redesign
Client: Texas PTA
This project began with a pretty common issue: the target audience is complaining they’re not receiving information while the content creators are at a loss because they’ve been giving ALL the information. Which is my favorite place for creative problem-solving!
Start with the data: a deep-dive into their email open, click-thru, and unsubscribe rates; research industry comps; identify common elements in the highest and lowest performing emails; and collect feedback from PTA volunteers and leaders.
To get where we wanted to go, I created several new brand-cohesive newsletter templates in their preferred SMS (Emma). As you can see below, I focused on organizing content into sections/columns, shortening text blocks, and adding visual interest with graphic elements, color, and images. I also cleaned/purged/reorganized targeted distribution lists.
